Reni Mimura, Akihabara in NYC

Reni Mimura is an Japanese Cosplay Singer who is quickly gaining a fanbase with her authentic Akihabara style performances. Her performances features a cute, upbeat vibe and an experience where the audience can interact through games, karaoke, and cosplay. Her shows are held monthly at the Top Tunes karaoke bar located on East 53rd st. and 2nd ave in Manhattan.

Having relocated to the Manhattan in 2008, she is pretty much our J-idol next door. Bringing Akihabara subculture to NYC in one of the cutest ways possible. We all thank her for the unique and refreshing experience her shows provide.Check out her CD "Sakura" out now.

It Begins

So while grabbing a bite to eat over at Korea Town, we came up with the idea to start blogging about asian culture in New York City. We want to share every little quickbite, event, food, hot spot, entertainment, etc. we come across. Our goal is to help people with similar tastes and interests find what their looking for in such a diverse city.
