Kinokuniya

If there was one place in New York City that we spend the most time in, it would be Books Kinokuniya.  We've spend countless hours roaming the aisles of this store and spent many paychecks on all kinds of "swag".

Kino is one of the few places where we can spend hours just browsing the aisles, and not get bored. There's are three floors inside the store. We spend the most time upstairs on the third floor. Here you'll shelves filled with hundres of anime, mangas, books, movies, cd's and toys in both Japanese and English. It also house's a small in house cafe called Cafe Zaiya.

The basement level is a dedicated to Japanese books, magazines and office or school supplies. (you can find English books at the 2nd and 3rd floor). There's also an NTT Docomo retailer located at the corner of the floor. Too bad these phone are virtually unusable here in the states. We think this place is great, and to prove it our rooms are slowly being consumed by all the stuff we've bought.
